During November’s Third Friday Durham event, join us at perfect lovers for a final look at Colonies by Catherine Edgerton and enjoy live experimental and improvised string music performed by Emma Dunlap-Grube (cello) and Zach Aliotta (violins). Works by John Cage, Pauline Oliveros, and Kaija Saariaho. A collection of unusual and altered violins opens new sonic worlds.

Zach will have violins available for experimental play.

Performance begins at 7pm. Free and open to the public.
